what else could he get from friends - cheper gift ideas
inot cricket and all sports thats it really we are getting himm a basketball post

My ds is 4 in about 8 weeks, all he wants is spiderman (arghhhhhh!!!) which I am sick of hearing about. I would personally rather buy him Playmobil stuff which can be as cheap or expensive as you want really. DS not sporty though so can't really suggest anything there.

what about bike accessories eg helmet, knee pads (got these for 5yo pal of DS1 and was a big hit prezzie) water bottle etc. Or can you get cricket pads for littlies? We can never have too many balls (v cheap prezzie) as they always burst/get lost. Have you thought about a scooter, I mean a silver fold-up one, can get them for about £10 i think. Take it from your post re only liking sports that my usual suggestions of felt-tips/Lego/Playmobil will not wash?
