Wardrobe in boot of Mondeo estate?

So, whaddya think? I've just won a really lovely child's bedroom set on ebay. The drawers will fit in dp's boot, but I'm suddenly wondering if the single wardrobe really will fit in the back of my Mondeo estate.
We've had some pretty big stuff in there so I'm fairly confident, but its chucking it down with rain and I really don't want to go outside and measure up.
Do you think it will fit?

I think it will fit but take something to un assemble it just in case, or take some rope or similar with you so you can have the boot slightly open while transporting the things (don't know if it's legal tough...)

We have once bring a bed home in our old fiesta, now we have the mondeo, the boot is the only reason we have to keep it, it's huge!!!
