Thinking of buying one of these (for making low-calorie frozen yoghurt obviously!). Can anyone recommend one which is reasonably priced and easy to use? Thanks.

we have a magimix similar to this , bought it a couple of years agoo and it makes fantastic ice cream... you do need to rememnber to put the bowl in your freezer but once summer hits, the bowl is in there permanently! Yum!

Yes, we've got a great one with its own freezing function (its very big), called a Gelato Chef 2000, can't see any other brand name on it but I think its quite common, Lakeland etc sell it. DH does all sorts of exciting flavours! I know someone who used to re-churn supermarket ice cream in theirs sometimes and it vastly improved it.

we've got a Gaggia Gelateria - pricy, but industrial strength, very quick and no need to pre-freeze the bowl. We got a reconditioned one off the Gaggia UK site 3 years ago for about half the shop price and it was as new and in perfect condition. It's still going strong and we've used it a lot. I think the site still offers recons.
