when did you stop using the carrycot and start using the seat - i know they say 6 months but my ds is 4 mnths and v. big now - also he is starting to not like lying flat on his back. thanks in advance

Hola, I put my babe in the seat at about 5 months. I reckon if your ds is looking ready to sit in the chair then you should put him in - you can always recline it so he's not sitting upright and he'll love being able to look about.

I agree with finecheese, I put DS in the seat when he didn't like lying down anymore. I also put the back of the footmuff and a sheepskin in there at the same time as this gave some extra padding while he was still quite little in it.

I have just put my dd into the seat - she is a very small 5 months. She absolutely loves it - and is much happier!
