what width is an average sized pushchair?

60cm for a big Silver Cross type, 48cm for a Maclaren Triumph

I'm trying to block off a corridor to stop toddlers escaping and was hoping to use a babydan thing but the gate size is 60cm so may not be great for prams to fit through

will have to rethink, another thread perhaps!
