We have tried various huge parasols to shade our garden sofas but as the base has to stand on decking (with a 6ft drop below) it is always the base that lets us down. Again a week ago it crashed over and although the parasol is fine the weak base means it now leans over so low you have to duck. We’ve put so many concrete slabs to weight it but nothing works. The pole always leans over from the base struts. Anyone know what the answer is?
