How hardy are these things? I'm wanting to create a small play are in the garden and at the moment there's just scrubby baldy horrible turf. If I prepared the ground properly would these things last outside for a year or 2?

We had 4 under our mini trampoline on patio last year (not directly expsoied to the elements) and they are now flooring our wooden playhouse, as good as new. Seem fairly robust but depends how much actual wear they will have I suppose. For a more permanent thing you could go for bark or rubber chippings within a frame.
