Cheapest I could find the BabyDan BabyDen was £69.99 on Kiddicare.com but....

... noticed it was only £79.99 on LXDirect, so with the £15 discount code ZG5299 and free P&P, thats only £64.99!!! Not bad considering it's £90 in Mothercare and selling second hand on eBay for £56.

I've recieved confirmation of my order so just waiting to see what they take out of my account.

Yay br!!! Sounds great (and you'll LOVE the babyden).

Do you have one WK? I really need it as a barrier as I've turned our breakfast room into a play area for DS and want to block off the kitchen. Is it stable when used in this fashion? Will he be able to pull it over if he yanks on it?

We had it set up as a divider between breakfast room and kitchen - it's OK if you fix it to the wall using the brackets, although TBH ds never tried that hard to shift it (hardly ever shut the gate anyway...it was a bit of a waste of money in the end but may be more useful when no. 2 comes along I suppose).

I've got one br but atm I only use it as a playpen, not as a divider yet so I can't really answer that. But it is incredibly stable as a playpen so imagine it should be very stable as a barrier too.

the bonususe of our babydan was as a 'cage' for the christmas tree when our son was at the 'crawling and eating everything in sight' stage.

Now that's a good idea sis. My friend had problems with her DS trying to pull the baubles off of the Xmas tree last year so this may prove usefull.

I'm sure I got the idea from mumsnet in the first place .

sis, that's what we did with ours when ds was just over 1! I did post on here about how well-behaved the tree was while it was in there (no screaming and crying like we used to get from ds )...so maybe that was what gave you the idea!
