So, i booked in for a vehicle inspection by the RAC, while looking to buy a used car. The engineer decided to abort the inspection, because he didn't think the parking was suitable. The car sales garage in London offered a number of options, including moving other cars, valet parking his car for him, bringing the used car to any other place nearby where the engineer preferred to park. There is also a huge supermarket across the street from the garage. All reasonable options were rejected. I don't control street parking, (otherwise all the CF parking threads wouldn't exist!).
RAC customer service, very shockingly arrogant, says its absolutely ethical for them to keep the money £200, without providing the service!!!
So, watch out!
