I was looking at one today and thought it is the practical option as it will last.

Yes I'm thinking about it too bamb, I had one for dd from 6 month but from birth?? I do want a sling too but seeing as we're having december babies I think we should be able to wrap them up snuggly while its so chilly.Whcih you can't do with a sling very well....
Also you can't see them in mc Cl which is a bit poo... But they last andlast and fold soooooo small

I dream about a bugaboo but just can't justfy the money!

Snap lizzer! I was in mothercare today with sil and spent a good hour looking at them all. She loves it! She was the one getting them all out! I decided maclaren was most practical. Weird how you think so differntly with no.2!

Definitely B, I wonder whether a second hand pram then McL would work, but it all seems such a waste now you realise how quick they grow and all that jazz!

Didn't use the maclaren techno but used a m&p pulse buggy from birth and it has been a bargain purchase that we are still using two years on. If your after practical and economical and can get past not having a lovely new pram (i get a twinge for one now and then ) then it's defo the way to go.

We have used a techno classic (think it is now called the XLR or something) since ds2 was 8 weeks old and he is still in it now at 22 months. It seems fine although it is starting to show a few signs of wear. I do wish that I had bought the XT version sometimes as it is slightly lighter and simpler which is better when they become toddlers but it has been a good purchase over all and a bit of a bargain as I managed to buy from the Glasgow Pram Centre during the sales saving £50 on the price in Mothercare.
