Can anyone give me a recommendation for cheap home insurance. Ours is due for renewal and we no longer get the 25% new customer discount.

Liverpool Victoria were the cheapest for us by a long way.

I used Tesco for contents and buildings insurance and they were also very cheap.

we went with Paymentshield - cheap (for us) and easy to set up because you're insured for up to a set amount for contents so no need to specify assets individually

There's a website called confused.com that's supposed to do all of the shopping for you to find the best deal.....

try esure, they're pretty cheap too for contents and buildings together

We have just renewed with esure they were the cheapest for us last year and this year also.

We've just renewed ours Sainsburys was a lot cheaper than direct line and Tesco plus I got 1000 nectar points. I gave up after 3 quotes

Another vote for Esure. They were over a £100 cheaper. We also have car insurance with them because they're the cheapest.

We went with Esure as well.
