Thinking of a Vauxhall Meriva, DH not very keen but it'd be my car so who cares tbh
What else is out there similar or a little bigger that you have/would like to have/would never have? Looked at the Ford C-Max but a little bigger than I'm looking for, unless anyone says they are fab I'll have another look.
Not wanting anything that has the 7 seat option but need a decent boot space. I drive a Toyota Avensis just now but my daily journey to work has been cut by 90% due to house move so I don't need something so big & guzzly. DD is 5 but another LO on the way so the usual requirements.
TIA I've posted in Mens Room too.

Buy a Honda Jazz - new model coming/come out so there should be lots of recent ones coming on the market. Loads of boot space, seats fold down into boot space and everything is well designed and works.

Have a look at the Fiat Idea - I love mine. Plenty of room, good on petrol and bargains to be found at 1yr old. You should be able to pick one up for around £6000 at 1yr old.

our last car was a c-max and i loved it - have you had a test drive? it doesn't feel too big to drive - the boot is spacious and the back seats remove completely which we found useful for trips to ikea and the dump etc! the main reason we loved it was the quality - my dh drives hire cars frequently as he travels for work alot and he said the ford quality is really good compared with some other makes - my friend has a VW touran and is convinced the c-max is more 'solid' than her touran. i can't comment on the meriva but we did have a zafira for one week as our holiday rental and it felt cramped and a bit 'cheap' (sorry to offend anyone as i know some people love theirs)
