Does anyone own a Vita-mix blender?

We saw a vita-mix blender demonstration today and it looked amazing, but it costs £380!!!
Do any of you own one and would you recommend it?

I've seen one demo'd and thought it looked great but was really surprised at the cost . Couldn't justify getting on sadly!
