Cheap MP3 players for kids? Any suggestions?

We are travelling on a long haul flight in July and I was thinking about getting a couple of cheap MP3 players for the kids (7 & 5) and filling them with stories/ songs/ music whatever for the journey.

I wondered if anyone could suggest suitable 'child-friendly' ones e.g. with easy controls, child-friendly headphones (are there such things, I know my little one struggles with ear pieces).

I have an iPod so I don't know much about MP3 players - how do you upload stuff if not using iTunes?

Got one in ASDA for £5 (works ok but no lcd screen so you can't pick tracks from sight - great for stories though) and one in Argos for £25 which DH uses down the gym which is better but £5 is less to worry about them leaving on the plane!
