We have a Thuka one which we are using as a low bed now but will be converted to a mid sleeper. It's very sturdy and I'm really pleased with it.

puppydavies · 25/05/2007 12:31

we got this one from tesco. it's fab, plenty sturdy and loads of storage.

MrsSoupdragon · 25/05/2007 12:39

Both DSs have Thukka ones.

I have to recommend Rainbow Wood (internet company) if you are thinking of buying thuka. They are incredibly helpful and kind

we have this one this one for ds1 (3.5) and he loves it, mattress seems very good too, and I used my Nectar points towards paying for it!

Don't get me wrong, I love DD2s midi sleeper thing from MFI with a slide and turret and ample storage and whatnot. But....it's a bugger to change the sheets......

SoupDragon · 25/05/2007 14:32

Fitted sheets are a must. And one of those kiddies bathroom stepstools come in handy too, even if you're 5'7.

spudmasher · 25/05/2007 14:43

True.... quite funny when you get one side in and the other pings off.

Being of the shorter variety of person, I actually have to get on the bed and do one end then get on the done end and do a jumping motion to get it out from under me to be able to tuck it in the other end.

DD2's sheets don't get changed much
