Ecoballs- How good are they REALLY???

I'm tempted but wonder how good they really are?
The last thread was Oct 05 so don'tknow if product has had any improvements since then??

Any advice or info would be nice.

A friend gave me a lakeland one and I use it very sucessfully. I still use tablets if there is heavy staining(vomity sheets anyone?)But for everyday stuff I rate them.

We have the green ecoballs, and they're OK....

not impressed with whites (I want them to be white!), and they're useless with sgreasy stains. Ours came with a little tube of stain remeover, so I think that's to be expected.

I use them for lightly soiled coloureds, but Surcare for the rest.

They do save us money, though not as much as if we used them all the time
