Can you help me find a red rug please?

I would like to get a red rug, as cheaply as possible, no bigger than 4ftx4ft. Have looked at Ikea, for cheap rugs, but they don't have any red ones! I want to get one for ds1's playhouse and his favourite colour is red!

pmsl!! I think its a proper question!!

The IKEA red rug is dreadful though - still find traces of it in this house and it's been in the garage since we moved here.

tortoiseSHELL · 23/05/2007 16:12

that might be a bit dark - ds1 likes fire engine red!

tortoiseSHELL · 23/05/2007 16:16

not sure either TR - I think it's going to need to be quite hard wearing.

not sure of the size tho

Trinityrhino · 23/05/2007 16:18

this isn't easy

tortoiseSHELL · 23/05/2007 16:32

I think something not fluffy ( the idea of muddy shoes going in and fluffy pile is not good!). Something matting like.

Searched the archives for red rug and got about 300 messages, but sadly not many links!!!

SGK - I think that would be too fluffy tbh, TR, that's quite nice, not sure about the pattern though!

Why not go to a carpet place and buy an offcut - sometimes they can bind the edges for you too.
