looking for toddler reigns with more 'padding' ...

..more so than the ones you get at boots or mothercare..when ds (who's 3 next month) tugs or pulls while on ours, he sometimes gets these little marks where the reigns rub into his skin.... (they don't bother him, but seeing them bothers me!)

we dont want to stop using reigns until he is a bit older (and hopefully, calmer!) - can anyone suggest where we can maybe get some that are a bit more padded or soft?

TIA

How about one of those LittleLife rucksacks they can wear with a parent strap instead? The rucksack straps are padded, so won't dig in, and the parent strap is more "subtle" for an older toddler.

Friend's DD (just 3) loves carrying hers (so much I'm thinking of getting one for DD) and she can be "controlled" easily as required (she's usually a runaway )

thanks for that, going to forward the link onto dh (who told me this morning, ds is too old for his reigns!, but since i am with ds most of the time, i'm making the decision to keep using them!!) heh! and i like the padding on those too!
