Bridal make up

Hi ladies...not really baby related but this is such a good forum for opinions. I recently had a wedding make up trial and as much as she did a great job I actually prefer my own foundation. I wear No. 7 stay perfect. Has anyone used this for their wedding make up and how is it with flashback on photos. I just think the colour is a much better match than the Mac she used and my skin looks more flawless with it than the Mac. Thoughts or alternatives please? Thank you

Why don't you just tell her that as the day went on you weren't happy with the foundation and could you try another one? I had something sort of similar and just spoke to her and she understood what I meant and adjusted it... that's the whole purpose of a trial.

Yeah I am going to go back for another trial. I should have clarified I meant for her to still do it but with my own foundation

If you are going to a media make-up specialist, they will be trained in photography lighting techniques, so what looks not great in daylight, may look much better in a photograph.

I have seen non professional performers remove professional applied theatrical make-up and reapply the make-up as they would for every day life, believing they know better. It doesn't look good on stage or in photography compared to those who left the make-up alone.
