Manufacturers Warranty / Arnold Clark Service Plan

Hello, we're about to buy a 2013 Kia Ceed, collecting on Thursday. It has 2 years left on the Manufacturers warranty. It's the newest car we've had, so not sure how this works.
We usually get a local garage to do services and MOTs. Can we still do this as long as they follow the service plan, or do we need to take it to a main dealer?
We've also been offered a service plan from Arnold Clark - £199 for 2 years for 2 services and 2 MOTs. This doesn't include parts apart from oil and filters. Do you think this is a good deal? It would mean travelling to an Arnold Clark rather than using the local garage.
I guess I'm just worrying about the warranty being invalidated if we don't use a 'proper' garage.
Thanks very much : )

first of all does the car have evidence the previous services have been carried out at a Kia main dealer?
Are if so, were those services carried out at the correct time (date and/or mileage)?
Its important you check this as if the above has not been done Kia will not continue the warranty.
Alternatively, phone a different Kia dealer and give them the registration asking if the warranty is still in place.

I would recommend using a Kia dealer for its next service which should take it to 6 years old, there is no need to use a Kia dealer when the car is 7 years old as its effectively got no warranty left and there would be little benefit.
