Kia Sportage

We are looking to change our car and are interested in the Kia Sportage. Ideally we would like a car which could occasionally fit my two kids (4 & 6) in the car seats and 3 adults. This would enable us to have a grandparent with us etc. Happy if that means 1 car seat in the front and one in the back with 2 adults. Is this possible in the Sportage? Would only be for one off trips rather than holidays etc.

Any other thoughts or feedback about the Sportage or other similar cars welcomed

I'm on my second Sportage and love them. Easy to drive, loads of gadgets for the price. I'm not sure about seats as the kids we're in boosters when I first got it but I reckon you'd be fine

The Sportage is a solid choice - if buying used ensure if has a full Kia main dealer service history as this will keep the warranty going for the 7 years.

The 1.6 petrol Sportage drives okay, but its fuel economy can suffer if only used around town.

You should also consider a Hyundai Tuscan which is the exact same vehicle but different badge.
Kia and Hyundai are the same company.
