Travel cot recommendations

I am looking for a travel cot that is easy to put up/down and reasonably portable as we will probably need to take it on planes. DD is 3 months old at the moment so don't want to get the pop up ones as she will grow out of it soon.
Thanks for any advice.

Get a long one, standard ones don't last very long

The twin arc one is good - light weight so good for flying -goes up like a tent with bendy poles. Much longer than ordinary travel cot. I have one for sale (used twice) if you're interested!!

amidaiwish · 20/05/2007 19:21

i have this one and it is fantastic, def agree to get a long one as the standard ones are 100cm long, not long enough.
i had a pop up samsonite one first but gave it away as once they can stand they can tip it.

we have a cheap mothercare model but its worked a treat fro both of mine. It regularly gets sliged around in the back of the car to adn from the childmainers and has been on aeroplanes loads of times. I dont think that you really get anything better for more money.

ScotGirl · 20/05/2007 19:26

Graco pack and play - I have 3 of them!

They are cheap ~ £35, really easy to put up and when you forget them you can buy another - that's how I ended up with 3!

They are normal sized though and my ds who is 14 months fills it already.

sammysam · 31/05/2007 11:55

Sorry to keep hounding you alexw its just we're away for the weekend and don't want to miss your reply.

Also we're off for a hol in a few weeks and need to sort out travel cot by then!!!

Thanks

alexw · 01/06/2007 20:22

Hi have been on hol myself. The cot would suit age up til you wouldn't use a cot as long as your lo isn't too wide!! It's narrower but longer than normal travel cot. Did you receive pics? Whereabouts are you? Is delivery/pick up feasable?

sammysam · 04/06/2007 11:14

Hi!
Didn't receive pics! We're in Poole, Dorset, but also spend time in the Farnham, Surrey area and Taunton, Somerset-where abouts are you?

alexw · 06/06/2007 20:24

We're in London. Could be sent as is only 2.5kgs. Will resend pics now.

sammysam · 08/06/2007 16:06

How much would you want posted and collected?
