P&T Question: Does the version 2 doubles seat fit onto the version 1 pushchair?

That's it really - I have an original version 1 Phil & Teds. The frame and wheels are still in great working order, but the doubles seat is very old and the straps have broken. If I get a new version 2 seat, will it fit?

No I don't think you can. We have the V1 and had to special order the doubles kit when ds2 came along. The V2 doubles kit fixes to the frame of the buggy with special adaptors in newborn/toddler mode whereas the V1 zips on to the buggy once the frame of it has been removed.

Dont think they do but the V1 seats come up on ebay quite often and at a cheap price.
