No iron school shirts?

My DC starts school in September and I've just realised how many shirts he'll need given what a Tasmanian devil he is. I hate ironing and almost never do it. Most of my clothes don't need it.

It probably sounds lazy but I'm a self employed full time working single parent so am trying to cut down on any extra house work for me come September.

Is there such a thing as a no iron shirt to buy to manage this or is this just wishful thinking? I'd appreciate suggestions.

Yep, m and s or Asda, buy five.

And, silly as it sounds, don’t ever iron them! It ruins the non iron finish on them.

Marks non iron are good but need to be tumble dried ideally.

Good advice thank you. I don't have a tumble drier. Best get one!

I don't have a tumble drier. I wash Marks non iron shirts on the easy iron setting on the washing machine and put them on a hanger and shake it and leave it to dry like that. Works well

@underthepalms brilliant! Thanks loads

Just checked and the setting on our washing machine is called Reduced ironing. It leaves it damper but fairly crease free

Fab. Such a relief.

Can he wear polo shirts? My primary child has cotton polo shirts for his uniform. The older three all wear Marks non iron and they're great as pp said.
