Can't decide which to get, any recommendations appreciated although I guess it can depend on the child size?
Thanks

We had a bumbo, dd loved it, she used it from 4 months until she could climb out of it LOL

I'd try to borrow one first, it's a love it or hate it from the baby's point of view
had one for my second and it was great for her, now using it for my third , so has been great value for me

I had a Bebe pod when dd2 was smaller and it was useless,at 4 months she was able to tip the pod backwards and herself out.I complained ,and they were very good at dealing with the complaint, they took the pod for testing and said it was faulty and offered a replacement but by then my confidence in the product had gone ,so i had a full refund.

I wouldn't bother. At 6 months my DS could climb out of the bumbo. By that time he was so close to sitting along that we stopped using it. If you were going to get one I'd say te Bebe Pod as it comes with a tray I think? The bumbo's really awkward as they can't reach their toys on the floor and you have to rig something at the right height. Also if you use terry nappies it's a pretty tight fit (which might solve the first problem but conjures up an amusing mental image).

sitting alone

bebe pod is better for fat thighs - ds wouldn't fit in a bumbo at 4 months - cloth nappies + big fat baby legs. But the bebe pod was ok and we used it a lot. For two months...

We have the Bebe Pod. I think it has a higher back than the Bumbo. We've had it since dd was 6 months old, now she is 16 mths and we are still using it. Definitely not a waste of money here.
