OK. It's the 1970s, and your mum is applying sun cream (probably tanning lotion, given that it's the seventies). It has a lovely, slightly floral and sweet but also a bit sensual fragrance (but not, NOT civet musk). Flash forward to the 2000s, and you still occasionally smell the smell in the summer when tanned-looking ladies pass by. You do not fancy grabbing one of these ladies and asking her what she smells of. So, you turn to the MN jury, and you say: which sun product is this?

Ambre Solaire? It's what my Mum used to plaster me with in the 70s.

I was hoping someone would say Clarins so thst I'd have an excuse to buy their new sun perfume.

I'm going to look a right charlie sniffing all the sun creams in Boots.
