The smallest I can find are 12-2 for 'Juniors' and they are ENORMOUS... but DS2 wants some so he can use his shin pads...

I got some for ds in sports soccer or soccerworld.

also, strangely, I found some in Sainsburys

Good name, there, Fox, for this question..

Can't imagine where in Sainbury's to look?

John Lewis might do them

MaureenMLove · 15/05/2007 14:04

I wonder how many more threads we can answer with the word 'SportsWorld' today, Fox!

it needs to be a big Sainsburys - in the children's clothing bit. They are the only ones I've ever found that are small enough to fit his feet properly (he's also a 10 and a half/11).

if you have a sportsworld, go there first but I'm not sure I found size 11 there. From memory, the Sainsburys ones had size 7 - 10 a half or 11 which fitted ds really well.

lol maureen!

the other place that will do them are those shops that sell uniform for private schools - they often have teeny tiny football/rugby socks.

Gameboy · 15/05/2007 14:10

No - y'see I've been to all the high street/ town sports shops:

JJB
SpoertsWorld etc etc

and they are all size 12 upwards

Don't think we have a big Sainsbury's near us either...

I challenge someone to find a link to a specific webpage at one of these sports shops selling this size....

sportsworld in cambridge have them in every size and colour. TBH they do shrink quite quickly, especially if you tumble dry them. I always buy the next size up. hth

I've never bought from either of these sites but have heard of Newitts.

these are size 10-2 which I think you may find too large still

not heard of these - if you click through the socks, they have loads of different sizes (you just need to find one that has junior size in stock, there are quite a few).
