In desperate need of a car, budget is a bit tight, looking to spend between £4000 and £6500. Need a family sized car and came across a Nissan Qashqui on eBay on a 2011 plate, 1.5 d. Looks like a lot of car for the money. Are the good cars? Anyone else have one and love it?

Absolutely love my qashqai- I love I when a car thread comes up on here so I can recommend it. Spacious, economical, plenty of spec. Best car I've ever had!

Thank you Pist, I really like the look of them, I’m just trying to talk myself into it as I have never spent this much on a car, I need to make sure I like it enough to keep it for many years.

I lease mine and when it goes back I'm going to get another. Praps in a different colour. Grin

I just sold my Qashqai + loved it, really nice to drive - very reliable. Just had to upgrade to a bigger car to allow three car seats in the back! Otherwise I would have kept it longer.

I had one through work and I LOVED it

We love ours, 2016 leased. Very comfy and spacious, economical. The only issue we had was that the boot space was less than our old car so we bought a top box to compensate(if the dog is in the back she likes to spread out).

I love mine. Easy to drive/park and enough space for our family of 4. Ours has been very reliable so far. The backseat isn't particularly comfortable imo but that doesn't matter as both of the dc have car seats anyway.

Do it! Do it! Do it! Grin

Check the boot space. I thought smaller than you would expect from that size car.

PistFump · 26/04/2018 17:42

I was impressed with our boot space. I've never struggled with it.

We kept our old quashquai for almost 9 years. Great car. Dh has just had another.
