Do you have one? If so, do you love it? I'm thinking of treating myself as a pat on the back for landing a new job Grin
I was having browse on Cult Pens and fell in love with the Matte Black Special Edition. It looks lovely!

Yes - they are brilliant pens. Smooth to write with and satisfyingly chunky in the hand.

The only FP as good for day-to-day writing is the Platinum ‘Preppy’ also available on Cult Pens, but it doesn’t look nearly as nice.

Lammy do some nice colours of ink cartridge too.

UrbaneSprawl · 20/04/2018 09:29

...and congratulations, I’m sure you deserve it (both the job and the pen)!

Lovely pens, I’ve bought from cult pens in the past, I would recommend both.

I love Lamy as an "everyday" fountain pen. I whip out a flash looking Parker for special occasions though.

Thanks urbane! I'm really excited about it ☺️

nik I love Cult Pens! I've spent far too much money on there feeding my Stationary habit! 🙈

Love them. Had one or another for about 20 years, usually in red these days, and feel distressed if I can’t find My Pen. To write my Lists with, obviously.

BoudicasBoudoir · 20/04/2018 10:22

And congratulations on the job. Think I bought my first one as a ‘new job’ present.

CognitiveDissonance · 20/04/2018 10:42

Thanks boudica Smile

I'm a list lover myself Wink

fairfax I haven't used a Parker in years! That's made me feel all nostalgic! Used to love a Parker in secondary school, might have to look into a grown up version ☺️

I also have a Parker IM fountain pen, which I’m a bit disappointed with. It looks and feels good, but if not used at least every day it sulks and dries up in a way that none of my other pens do (the Safari writes perfectly even after a week or so).

Oddly, the cheaper Vector pens I remember from high school don’t seem to have the same trouble.

Lamy’s ‘logo’ range are a better bet for a slightly posher pen, though.
