DD1 (age 7) would really like some for her 8th birthday next month. DH and I have discussed this evening (without her knowing) and have decided we will get them.

Please can anyone recommend any good ones, best places to buy them from and how much money I'm looking at forking out for them please?

Thank you.

Rebel Heelys are £45 in Sports world.

My dd same age as your dd loves hers. I think they are great

Frascati · 11/05/2007 21:55

vvqv ~ not if they are holding their mum's hand like my dd does.

i got dd1 second pair from ebay. were £20.

the first pair were from the toy factory at £25, but broke after 10days.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 11/05/2007 21:56

No, but, I'm not about to wander around the shops asking children of 8+ to go and hold their parent's hands or vice versa, now am i? Would you?

MaureenMLove · 11/05/2007 21:58

Heelys are no more dangerous than scooters or us on our bikes when we were kids! I fought and fought for my dd not to have them, as I thought they were a waste of money, but she has worn them non stop and really got her monies worth. Sports World is the place to get them.

Sparkler1 · 11/05/2007 22:02

Okay thanks guys - shall try SportsWorld.

Thanks for telling me about the toy factory ones Misdee - we shall stay well away.
