Spiegelau wine glasses - please help me find them!!!
CountessDracula · 04/08/2004 16:46
PLEASE can someone find a uk stockist of these for me? I have searched and searched and I can't. John Lewis used to do them but don't now, then I got from small island trader but they have stopped doing them too. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Amazon.com do them but won't ship to uk.
Come on mumsnetters - I would be eternally grateful!

Have a look here , CD. All the other roads did lead to amazon but this one is based in HK but ships from Bordeaux and when I looked at Shipping details (under Customer Services) it says they'll ship worldwide, 2-3 days within Europe. And if you spend more than $500 shipping is free. (I think! )

You could buy some wine while you're at it. Or a Swiss Army knife. What an amazing site!
Janh · 04/08/2004 17:39
This site has some too, and looks cheaper, but can't find shipping information.
CountessDracula · 04/08/2004 17:51
Thanks Jan, the second one doesn't ship to the uk. And the first works out so expensive with french tax @ 20% and delivery that I may as well buy Riedel glasses here!
I just really love these glasses and they were half the price of Riedel but as nice IMO. Guess I will have to keep looking...
21stcenturygirl · 04/08/2004 17:58
They look very similar to the Tesco cheapos that I got for 83p! I'm sure you won't be able to tell the difference after having a few of them filled with wine!
Bellie · 06/08/2004 10:51
CD - not sure where you are based, but there is a kitchen shop in Reigate called Art of Living which I am certain used to do them. They do not have a web page but their telephone number is 01737 242302
CountessDracula · 06/08/2004 11:17
Oooh thanks Bellie - I'll call them, they aren't too far away and I'm going near there later.
CountessDracula · 06/08/2004 11:17
21st C girl sorry they don't match up!! I am a weirdo, only like drinking out of very thin mugs and glasses.
