Can anyone recommend decent scented candles that aren't at Jo Malone prices...?

soz, have just checked and is actually White Company Pompelmo, like grapefruit, really refreshing. On website is in bathroom section rather than home scents for some reason.

Is the M&S Fig nice or does it smell very obviously fruity? Not quite got my head round all the fig candles...

Definitely Diptyque (20 quid in France and last 50 hours so wait til someone goes over and get a couple) but I am always so disappointed with smelly candles.

The only ones I'd give house room to would be MandS or Diptyque (and a couple of non cookie Yankee candles) and that's because my house is FILLED with candles that don't work.

I'm really really disappointed in the Laura Ashley ones I bought last month which now smell of nothing and they were the lavender ones at £10 each. They smelled nice in box but give off no aroma when lit.

Because I can't afford any more at the moment I've taken to putting a couple of drops of lavender or orange oil on a duster when I wipe furniture - which isn't much
