Anyone know of a light weight folding bed rail that you can pack in a suitcase, to stop DS falling out of bed on his hols ?

Argos also have one

Well I've got one of these for my ds and I wouldn't like to take it on my hols - it's huge!!!

If we're away somewhere I usually just put a chair up against the bed or something.

We've got this one . We got it at John Lewis and it's excellent. It the sides fold down and it folds in half to make a fairly small package. It's also one of the easiest I found for an adult to flip down (crucial as it's at my mum's house and she has arthritis in her fingers).

We have one of these and I did consider taking on holiday but TBH it is still quite large to fit in a case. I am just keeping my fingers crossed DD doesn't fall out of her single bed on holiday - she is used to a toddler bed so we shall have to see!

Another vote for the Baby Dan rail, as linked by Prettycandles. It's not light but it is easy to assemble and effective in use.

Baby Dan gets my vote. Take it everywhere.
