Child's Leather Armchair?

BoingBoing · 07/05/2007 12:44

Does anyone know where I can find a child's leather 'club' style armchair? I've tried google but nothing's come up. Preferably on a website please as I'm nowhere near anywhere to visit easily, otherwise, central London!

Have you tried looking on the Ikea website?

BoingBoing · 07/05/2007 13:56

there are some for sale in a shop near me, but I can't find a website to link to. Whereabouts in the country are you?

MrsBadger · 07/05/2007 14:09

can't remmeber offhand what shape a 'club' chair is, but there are some leather-look ones here - scroll down for a 'tub' shaped one

JackieNo · 07/05/2007 14:10

Something like this ?

fryalot · 07/05/2007 14:11

yeah, that's what the ones in the shop looked like, but significantly cheaper

JackieNo · 07/05/2007 14:12

Or these (though not real leather)

DoorstoManual · 07/05/2007 14:12

Mrs B damn you, that is sooooooooo cute.

DTM wanders off muttering he doesn't need it, he doesn't need it.

BoingBoing · 07/05/2007 14:43

Ooh, Mrs B - that's almost perfect, and the footstool is brilliant. He can be just like daddy now, with his feet up reading his tractor magazine. Now, if we can only find that in leather...

and thanks everyone else too - it's not an easy job is it?! Squonk, I'm in Cornwall, although ocassionally I go up to London.

DTM wanders back in, one little look won't hurt.....................

they sell leather chairs and matching footstools regularly on pricedrop.tv or bid.tv. Also, if you have a JTF card (discount warehouses all over the country) I saw them there last week for £15.

fryalot · 07/05/2007 16:14

hmm, boing, I was just thinking of you calling in at the shop near me.

P'raps not

BoingBoing · 07/05/2007 18:42

Indeed! I suspect the cost of haulage would double the price of the chair but I've emailed the link to DH's work address, so at least he's getting the idea - and it is all his idea anyway, bless him

And sadly, I don't even have digital tv, let alone cable or satellite, and I@ve never even heard of JTF (it probably hasn't crossed the Tamar!) so thanks for the suggestions Sarahlou, but again

cheers again though, you're all great
