will they replace them for me ?

i bought a top in next in watford yester day for £16.99 no in the sale and i wore it to the party and 3 hours later the thread started coming off on the hem if i take it back will they replace it /refund me ?
even though ive worn it i just dont like buying somethink and then it falling apart

also i bought a new camera from agros about 3 weeks ago and the bit where you put the batteries in has broke it wont shut will they take it back ??

yeah - you should be able to take both back - as clearly they are not of merchantable quality/fit for the purpose for which they were sold. your camera should, I imagine, be under a 1 year guarantee anyway, and you don't expect a top to start falling apart after a few hours, and even before it's gone in the wash I wouldn't mention the word party tho when you try and swop the top(!)

Yep - both of those they should take back. I don't know whether they have to give you a refund or not though - may only have to give you a replacement.

but will they mind that the top hasnt got the tags on it anymore

doesn't matter whether tags are on or off...it is not fit for purpose...i.e it is falling apart (got anything that proves when you bought it?)

Under "the sale of goods act 1979" it is up to you whether you have a refund, exchange or repair.

ah good.

I had to take some stuff back to evans the other week, (funeral clothes, bought two outfits as weather was unpredictable, too back the ones i didnt need). And thought they might get funny as they were sale items but got a refund.
