Agree the names can be irritatingly twee.

Porpoise · 03/05/2007 12:49

it's a UV mesh sunshade thing that goes over your funky three-wheeler buggy, Fimbo. For those who think clip-on parasols are chavvy

PeterAndreFanCLub · 03/05/2007 12:49

shade-a-babe
alwasy makes me think of a burqa

Quinny are dutch so I think we have to let them get away with it
at least they're being imaginative...

JackieNo · 03/05/2007 12:53

I wonder if it's in the wake of everything in Ikea having a 'name'?

Fimbo · 03/05/2007 12:54

I like the principle but my ds would have screamed the place down putting something like that over him. Ah well you live and learn, never had things like that back in 1998 when I had dd. I had a Silvercross Wayfarer and thought it was trendy.

LadyTophamHatt · 03/05/2007 13:01

it always amuses me that there is soooooo much crap avaialable to buy for your baby.

Once you've got more than 1 child you realsie that 99.99999% of the stuff they tell you you won't be able to live without is utter crap and a huge waste of money.

(those wipe warmer things and nappy bins spring to mind)
