Best car seats that can (eventually) become booster seats

Ds (3 & half)is rapidly growing out of his Maxi Cosi Priori. Was all set to buy an Evolva 2-3 Ultra, but not sure if it converts to a booster seat for when he's older. Dd (6) has a Britax Kid which does. Anyone know of any other seats that do this that they could recommend? Thanks.

We went for a Mothercare Advance SP - Oympus (I think)...

Like it because it has it's own harness - didn't want to use the proper seat belt until he's bigger. Also converts to a booster seat. And only £65.

Very pleased with it. Glad I didn't spend a fortune like some of them are.

Facing similar as need seats for our second car and am very indecisive . The Britax ones(Evolva 23, Highliner) no longer convert to a cushion but the Maxi Cosi Rodi and Concord Lift do. Sorry but have never rated the Mothercare ones. It is actually recommended to keep children in highbacks longer anyway now so unless they are likely to be very tall one of those should be fine.

i thought that the booster seat type were being phased out?
We got a Britax Hi-liner , one of the Which? best buys and Argos had them on sale for £29.99 a couple of months ago - at that price I don't mind paying out for just a booster if/when I need one.
When they first had the new regs out (about 18mo before they applied) they were also going to ban the boosters aswell, although haven't seen anything about that for a while.
