Don't really know what they are but ds asked about them.We asked in the local toy shop and the reply was a very shirty "we don't sell THEM".
Couldn't ask why at the time as he was serving but left feeling ever so slightly ashamed for even uttering the word.
Why?

My 2 boys love Transformers. I didn't think they were evil.

John Lewis sells them.

bobsmum · 02/05/2007 17:41

No - only the Decepticons are evil

NotQuiteCockney · 02/05/2007 17:41

They're available at Woolworth's, so toy stores tend not to sell them. They're a bit plasticy-made-by-child-slaves-in-a-poor-country, aren't they?

Unlike the fairtradey-wood-made-by-artisans-in-france stuff that 'nice' stores like to sell ...

Nbg · 02/05/2007 17:41

Omg hardly

I remember them from when I was little.

brimfull · 02/05/2007 17:43

LOL Bobsmum. I think my ds1 would agree.

The new film is out this summer so it's possible that other shops will start selling them.

brimfull · 02/05/2007 17:44

Surely they are no worse than Bionicles or the like . Wasn;t the Entertainer was it , they don't sell "aggressive" toys ?

bigbananafeet · 02/05/2007 18:04

Ds loves them. In Woolies from about 2.99 to huge big ones about £40(which is coveted!!)
