Hi all,

Think I need to trade in my 3 dr car for something more practical. Any ideas on the best baby friendly cars? Google tells me a Nissan Qashqai has great reviews for being family friendly. Any further thoughts from the experts?

I guess it depends how long you want to keep it and how you plan to use it. Almost any 4/5 door car will take a baby seat, but if you want to carry a "travel system" around you will want a big boot.

If you are just going to use it for local runs, avoid modern diesels, stick to petrol engines.

Think about whether you want a big car suitable for long runs or something compact for city driving.

Our car when our girls were small was a Skoda Octavia estate. Great boot for carrying loads of baby stuff and enough rear seat space when they were a bit bigger, but quite big.
