I need a lightweight but decent buggy

I have 2 DD's one aged 5 and the other aged 16 months and am pregnant with no3.

DD1 has SN's and although she can sort of walk she is Frankensteins baby in the walking dept and can't go far, very stiff legged and unsteady etc etc and also she has no sense of dnger, goes off in opposite direction and doesn't respond to pleas to come back so we'll still need a buggy for her.

So currently I have an E3 and when new baby comes along DD2 and DC3 will share this. I'll then need a lightweight but sturdy buggy that will fit a 5 year old comfortaby but we can still get in the car along with an e3 buggy.

Any suggestions for me?

TC...I didn't know you was pg again

Congratulations, when are you due?

As regards a buggy, don't know if you are looking for a more expensive one, but i use the Chicco winter london buggy for my ds, folds down very small and is very sturdy.

Will google it and have a look, thanks.

Anyone else?

Another 3 wheeler? Not a buggy as such but for a 5 year old your options are limited? Other than that a graco mirage - fold flat but lightweight and sturdy?

not that I'm getting paid for this, but I am loving my quinny zapp - it's lightweight, folds down very small and I think it would be big enough for your dd

You could have a go in Mothercare or something, and see what you think

Good to have somewhere to start by looking up your suggestions.
Thanks.

hello tc

I've got a Chicco Caddy. Looks desperately skimpy and is very lightweight (was lugging it with ds in up and down stairs until about 11 weeks pg), but I think it would fit quite a big child (ds is still tiny for his age) and has survived over a year of very heavy use with zero damage.
