toys etc for 10mnth DD

Hi,
what has been your best buy so far in the way of toys for a 10mnth old. She is really getting so active and inquisitive lately that I want to get her some things to really challenge her a bit more than her soft toys and scrunchy cubes.
Was going to get some first puzzles and some wooden bead toys as she loves the bead table at the doctors.
What else do you recommend?

How about some Duplo (baby lego)? My DS2 is 11m and loves it - I probably wouldn't have bought it for him but he loves his big brothers. Mostly he eats it ()but it's a start. Also the lift out wooden puzzles are good from this age.
Have fun

Bead frame was good (and still popular a couple of years later). ds's favourite at about that age was the Fisher-Price ball blast .
