DS2 will be 3 in a couple of weeks, was thinking about getting him a "my first leap-pad" (here) .... Are they any good?? Ds1 had a leap-pad and it was fantastic. Its the younger version of the leap-pad can still get the different books to go with it.

TIA

My 3 year old has this, he loves it. You can still get the books, Woolworths had some offers last time I was in, some for £5.

My 3 year old was given one, but to be totally honest I think they are a waste of money. IMO she is taking a back step with learning as she already knows colours, numbers etc. She was given a Vtech laptop (cost about £15) which she prefers and I think teaches her more, plus there are about 30 activities for her to do.
