Absorbing toy for 5 year old DD - any suggestions please?

She loves being imaginative, making up characters, voices etc. I was thinking K'nex or lego or something like that?

my 5 year old loves Playmobil at the moment - lots of scope for making up characters etc there

On Thursday Dh brought his Lego home from his mum's (can't believe she held onto it all this time....)

DD (3) hasn't played with anything else since Thursday...

Playmobil , Lego, Polly pocket , pop out books with characters such as the Fairy Castle, books , Hama beads - dd splits her time between all these and more !

playmobil too small for children who still put things in their mouths - so out of bounds for a lot of preschoolers.
