DS will be almost 2.5 when new baby arrives (hopefully in the next 2-3 weeks).
Want to get something for him from the baby but not sure what.
He is v lively so perhaps sth to keep him amused in the first few weeks while baby is attached to my boob...

He already has sandpit, ride ons for in and out, playhouse, Aquadraw, Lego and Brio plus loads and loads of books....
Any ideas?
TIA

DD just gave DS a digger ... but we also bought/got grandparents to buy LOTS of little presents - which I had in a box for feeds/just in case - whever I saw a conflict of interest between ds & dd in the early weeks, I could produce something interesting for ds ... coulod have set up some dangerous expectations, I expect, but worked well for us!
If you want something big/outside-y how about a little trampolene?

Pannacotta · 28/04/2007 21:42

Was wondering about a mini trampolene, thought that might burn off some energy too! And like the idea of lots of little bits, though DS is not that into toys at the mo, he'd rather race around like a loon!
