Bissell pro heat carpet cleaners the red ones

Our carpets are awful and tend to be bit pongy due to the cats and dog, have bought an animal dyson that is dealing with the hair but they still need a freshen and the odd clean from paw prints and the endless kids running in and out.

I was looking at buying a domestic carpet cleaner and somsone recomedned the Bissell one but at £300 I don't want to buy it if it won't work.

Anyone got one?

I have a Bissell pro heat that cost in that region. I bought it when we got a puppy

It works well - very easy to use (not much more effort than a normal vacuum cleaner) and the on board mixing of the detergent and water means that you don't waste the expensive detergent.

If you keep it reasonably handy, you can have it up and running in less than 5 minutes, so good if you have to deal with accidents.
