3 Kids - What Car?

Title says it all really!

We are debating the merits of having an 8 seater, any thoughts?

I was wondering what other people do if they have friends back for tea/air bag in the front?

We have three kids, all with car seats, and we have a Renault Scenic. All the seats fit in the back quite well. The front seat is then spare for visitors etc.

We have the little known about Honda FRV. It is fantastic three seats in the front and three in the back. No clambering into the back to do seatbelts up for me and it still looks like a "car" not a van.

We got a Renault Laguna estate when DS#2 was born. Plenty of room and a big boot. But as ours are growing we are going to seriously have to consider something larger.
