Does my perfect photo album exist anymore?!

Boots used to do a photoalbum - 6x4", slip in with little slips which you could use to date/id photos and insert under the photos. They don't do it anymore - I've e-mailed them and they've checked for old stock but to no avail. Any ideas where I might get a similar, good quality album without paying extortionate prices ... I really want to have the little card thingys to write on when/where the pics were taken.

Thanks

They do them in woolies with the memo card things, and poundstrechers too. After having those sort of albums its impossible to go back to the ones with no memos isnt it??

Thanks Charliecat ... and you're right, it would be impossible to go back to having no dates/commentary ... but if I don't sort something out soon I'll find myself doing just that as I've about 10 packs of photos to put in albums!

I use Arrowfile for 'special' albums - annual holidays, weddings, that sort of thing. They are very flexible, and good quality. But they're not cheap. I did get a great offer on a starter kit though.

If you email them and ask about offers, say you're thinking about using their product in future, they might do you a starter kit?

You could get an ordinary one with 6x4 slip-in pockets and just write a note along the bottom of each pocket with a thin permanent marker or a silver gel pen?

Great ideas ... thanks! Like the look of the Arrowfile system and have sent off for brochure.

Millie1 - did you get something?

I just got a flyer through from Arrowfile with an offer. If you quote TRU282 you can get a starter kit:
4 Seasons Binder Album
1 pk memo title inserts
1 red eye pen
30 black sleeve pages
for £12.98 incl. P&P

It's still pricey, but they are very nice.

Roisin - that's a great deal - thanks for letting me know! I've got the brochure, picked what fortune I want to spend but haven't ordered yet. Am off to look at your album now!!

Btw the black pages are a lot nicer than the white/clear pages IMO.
