My other half has been offered a job in Australia and we need to move very soon (in about 7 weeks). We are both Australian but our son (who was born here), still needs his Australian citizenship. I’ve contacted the Australian High Commission today and they were reasonably unhelpful with giving me any indication whether the application for citizenship would be processed before we are due to leave. Has anyone applied for this recently, and if so, what was your experience? How long did it take? Many thanks in advance!
