I'm currently using the free bookstart canvas bag for my 2 youngest! shove it all it and holds loads!

TeeCee · 25/04/2007 20:41

There is no such thing as a changing bag. It's just a bag you buy that you like that you shove all the usual shit into plus a few napies, some wipes and maybe a muslin.

It's just a bag, NOT a changing bag. Repeat after me 95 ties until you get it. Changing bags are so called to make you feel you need to part with £95 on a bag you wouldn't buy otherwise. Don't do it. Just buy a bag you like and shove a nappy in it!

mustrunmore · 25/04/2007 20:43

The one you get free from Huggies with your advantage card is fine.

poppyh · 25/04/2007 22:12

hana, i also use that bag, its great!

NappiesGalore · 25/04/2007 22:14

theres all sorts of lovely, expensive, options... but really, and i speak from experience, you just need a bag big enough for all your bits. dont be limited to what is marketed for the purpose.

skip hop - clips or velcros onto buggy

PrettyCandles · 25/04/2007 22:16

The Baby Bjorn rigid-sided one, especially if it's a gift! Failing that, the bookstart canvas bags are great, as long as you don't mind the crumbs that accumulate at the bottom and everything being muddled together.

I have the Huggies bag that you get free from the baby club at boots.

Also got a one with my i'coo pushchar which is freat as it goes on my back, great whilst trying to lug 2 kids to the car

wheelybug · 26/04/2007 08:51

Skip hop here too - loved it when dd was younger. Now I can get away with a nappy and some wipes, I just have a normal bag.

MrsBadger · 26/04/2007 09:14

a normal handbag with one of these in.

don't waste your money.

ceolas · 26/04/2007 09:15

Absolutely, MrsB. Changing bags are the worst con.

Don't even go there!

laughingduck · 26/04/2007 10:31

I have recently seen the light and bought a little fold up changing mat thingy which has a strap that you can clip it onto the buggy with. I then stick anything else I need either in my handbag or in the basket on ds's pushchair. Simple. I have to say that if we go out for ages as a family then I take one of dh's rucksack bags and stick all the kids stuff in it - dh then carries it .

cathcart · 26/04/2007 10:36

great big sack bag from accessorize, love it! stick in it nappies, wipes and fold up changing mat. plenty of reoom for purse, keys, phone, spare clothes, blanket, magazine, etc etc. looks cool too!

mtcraymond · 25/01/2011 15:31

I use one of one of These and its brilliant as its bigger enough to fit everything in, my husband will carry it and I can use it as a normal bag as its so stylish.. Perfect..
