Got the Boots baby one and it brings DS out in an awful rash. Can anyone recommend a good alternative?

Dr Haushka childrens sunscreen is fabulous...smells wonderful & is the only one that doesn't bring ds out in a horrid rash.

Simple Factor 50 for kids/babies is good but quite expensive. Doesn't irritate ds1's slightly excema-ey skin.

Greenpeople.co.uk - organic sunscreen is fab.

DS1 recated to one of them once. We use Johnsons now and never had any problem with it.

MuffinMclay · 25/04/2007 20:02

Lots of possibilities now. Thank you.

I'll avoid Johnson's. I don't know what they put in their products, but they give me eczema.

Better go shopping. That will be the kiss of death on the sunny weather.

Dd ended up with awful allergic reactions last summer and we finally ended up with the simple baby factor 50 stuff which is great and also goes in easily - the nasty boots stuff is like sudocrem! but I am very concerned about the chemicals in suncream so will be looking for an organic/natural alternative soon.
